SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS 2025
At the May 29th meeting at the Habanero Restaurant on University Avenue, we honored the 2025 Kiwanis Club of Riverside Scholarship recipients. With nearly fifty in attendance, these young mental athletes were honored and congratulated at the dinner.
The Kiwanis Club of Riverside awarded $30,000.00 in scholarships to many high school seniors and one to a current UCR student. The recipients were selected from over ninety applicants. Some of the certificates were awarded at the high school award night. La Sierra HS (our president is an alumni), Ramona HS and Poly HS.

Habanero Grill Restaurant is an outstanding restaurant specializing in Mexican entrée's including breakfast, lunch and dinner. Located at 2472 University Avenue, with plenty of parking. Kiwanis Club members pay $20 for their lunch meals and are always presented with many choices, we can even take home leftovers!!
